Nate is doing much better this year and actually kicked the ball a few times. Other than his dance moves (see below) and him almost pulling his pants down right on the soccer field to relieve himself (thank goodness I caught him in time - I literally would have crapped myself if he would have done it!) he had a really good time. Kaytlann on the other hand who I really thought would be my athlete trailed about 20 - 30 feet behind the group of kids at all times. She stops on the field to get her picture taken and only touches the ball when the coach lets her kick it after a goal has been scored against us. She will leave the field anytime she wants when she needs a drink from "overexerting" herself and actually stopped to pick a dandelion flower for me and ran off of the field to give it to me (see below). Four more weeks of action filled games to get through without any major embarrassments.

Grandma's Birthday and Brown Family Golf Outing
We always have our Brown Family Golf outing on the Sunday closest to Grandma's birthday and this year we were able to golf on her actual birthday. Below you will find pictures of Grandma on her 92nd birthday where we all gathered at the golf course that Grandpa built and our cousin Darren currently owns.

The Cornhole Tournament
While we were all gathered for Kaytlann's birthday party, we had a cornhole tournament with three sets of boards. Earlier in the summer we had the Father's Day gathering and had a huge tournament as well, but people complained that there were no trophies. So this year, Josh "acquired" 4 pieces of corn from some local fields while Kaylee and I were on the lookout and he painted silver and gold take home trophies. Mom also joined in on the fun and mixed candy corn with peanuts for some prizes as well. We all had a great time and had some new champions in the tourney.

Kaytlann's Birthday
Kaytlann turned 4 this year and she wanted a My Little Pony party. She wore her pony shirt that Great Grandma Hoff bought her to wear for her party while we were in Florida. Our guests for the birthday bash were Grandpa Hoff, Grandma & Grandpa Curry, Grandma & Grandpa Timbrook, Uncle Brad, Aunt Michelle, Hayley & Hannah, Tabitha, Uncle Chad, Aunt Brenda, Kristian & Kameron, Aunt Kaylee, Alex & McKayla. We had a great day with awesome weather and fun family memories.
